Get the Right Home RV Power Connection

You can travel in an RV and see the country.  Millions of RVs have been sold because it seems like the ultimate freedom for many people.   RVs are great for relaxation and family trips, but eventually, every trip comes to an end.  Ultimately, you wind up back at your house.

Do you have the right RV power connection for it?

The “right power connection” means that your power source matches the usage of the vehicle while it’s sitting there.   For example, if you run the air conditioner or other appliances while it is parked, you need a 50 amp power source.   On the other hand, if you don’t use appliances and just need to trickle charge the battery, you probably need a 10 or a 30 amp source.

Regardless of your usage, you spent a lot of money to get the vehicle and you want to maintain it properly.   Be sure to avoid overcharging or undercharging, because that can lead to an expensive battery replacement.

There is a wide variety of coaches being made, and also a wide variety of ways owners use them.  Some people use them once a month, but others don’t use them for months.  Either way, you want to be sure it starts and runs anytime you want to get going.
