The demand for electric vehicle charging stations has jumped.  This happened because sales of electric or hybrid vehicles has increased.  You’ve probably seen charging stations near government buildings and in corporate parking lots already.   Recently people have been requesting the installation of charging units in their homes.

Each electric vehicle comes with a charging cord which will plug into a standard 110-120 volt outlet.  However, it can take up to 12 hours to completely charge an empty-battery vehicle that way.

Eaton Charging Station

For those who want a faster charge, we proudly sell Eaton charging stations.  They are available for Residential or Commercial use, as well as a Universal unit for those with multiple vehicles.

Units for Electric Vehicle Charging

  • Level 1 is the Residential unit – 120 volts and 30 amps.   It will re-charge an empty vehicle’s batteries in about 8-10 hours.
  • Level 2 is the Commercial uni – 240 volts and 30 amps.  It will re-charge a depleted vehicle’s batteries in only 3-4 hours.  Because of that speed, it is ideal for anyone with more than one vehicle to maintain.
  • The Universal unit can recharge up to 4 vehicles at the same time.  Business owners may add this unit in a parking lot or garage as an employee benefit.

The units can be wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted.  They are constructed from rugged stainless steel, and can be installed either indoors or outdoors.    Whether you need charging for one vehicle or multiple vehicles, we have the right unit for you.   As an Eaton certified contractor, we have the training and the resources.   We’ll get your electric vehicle charging station operating quickly and safely.

Frye Electric has been a trusted local business for over 40 years.    So, thousands of satisfied customers call us for all their electrical work.   Today would be a good day for you to contact us to install your electric vehicle charging station!
